It is important that you, the patient, are satisfied with the (medical) care you receive at WZA. Nevertheless, sometimes things do not go the way we had hoped or expected. This may be related to the way a test or treatment went or to the information you received. You may also be disappointed about the way you were treated or how things were organized.

How to submit a complaint

  1. Discuss your comment or complaint directly with your specialist or care provider. This is the quickest way to resolve the issue.
  2. If it is difficult for you to talk to the individual(s) involved yourself, you can ask the WZA ombudsman to help you. You can also contact her if a discussion did not lead to the resolution of your problem.
  3. It might be that you are still not satisfied despite the contact with the ombudsman official and the steps that have been taken. In that case you can submit your complaint to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will ask the Complaint Review Committee for advice.
